1 – Blood test
Kittens will be tested for Felv and Five. All their parents are tested and are negative.
Some of breeds could have genetic deceases transmissible to kittens. Cats breeding are tested and results are indicated for each.
2 - Vaccinations
Kittens have theirs first vaccinations (the first at two month, the second at three month before they leave) : Typhus, Coryza, and Leucosis.
3 – Wormer and insecticide
Kittens are treated regularly and before their leaving from the breeding.
4 – Electronic Identification
All kittens will be electronically identified at two months old.
Kittens are identified with the name of the breeder to have a valid pedigree. The changing of owner will be proceeding by internet by the salesman. Official documents will be sending directly at your address by the SIEV.
5 – Registration to LOOF
All kittens will be registered to LOOFF (Official book of French origins).
LOOF Administrative services receive a lot of applications, the return time of documents is, in some cases, a bit long (until several months in extreme cases) ; but the certificate of sale mentions the animal is current to the LOOF and indicates the number of folder of this application, provide from the LOOF.
6 - Sterilization
When kittens are sold as pet, they are sold sterilized.
